Since the publication of The Facade, many readers have asked me for more information on the themes introduced in book. Toward meeting these requests, I wrote a monthly newsletter called "BEHIND THE FACADE". The final issue of the newsletter will be May 2008 - but you can still subscribe for access to all the available archived issues (3.5 years - over 40 issues) for a one-time payment of $10. Each contains: News and Headlines - I surfed the web for news stories devoted to the subject matters related to the book. You could spend a couple hours each day looking for these headlines, but I've done the work for you. The Briefing Room - Aside from news and information, there is a good bit of material out there on the web that can expand on subjects broached in The Facade. This section is devoted to filling in the gaps on varied subjects. Book & Article Reviews - Each issue provides reviews of both academic works and popular books in the areas relevant to the content of The Facade. There's no better way to learn what the best (or perhaps worst) books are on the subjects you care about with respect to the subject matter of The Facade. Divine Council Forum - Many readers have discovered that there is no available book for non-specialists on the divine council. In this monthly feature, provide readers with the latest text of the first draft of my book manuscript on the divine council. The planned title is The Myth that is True. Readers can respond with feedback (and often do!). The content of the manuscript will be revised monthly, even after the newsletter has passed its last issue. Subscribers get the material as long as I'm working on it. SO HOW DOES THIS WORK? The cost of access to the archived newsletter issues and any remaining issues until May 2008 is $10. Once you purchase archive access through PayPal, you will receive the user name and password by email to the Subscriber's Archive, accessible on the front page of Mike's website. |
